MicroPod wird nicht erkannt -> Lösung

Wie im Beamicon2_Benutzerhandbuch und in der Software erwähnt, dürfen bei direkter Verbindung nur Crossover Kabel verwendet werden.

Das MicroPod benötigt außerdem noch eine 5Volt Versorgung. (Achtung: Ein Verpolen der Betriebsspannung kann das Modul dauerhaft beschädigen!)

Trotzdem wurde das MicroPod in der Beamicon2-Basic Software nicht erkannt.

Nach dem MicroPod kann unter Konfiguration/Hardware gesucht werden.



Lösung:

In Windows 10 muss die Software als Administrator ausgeführt werden.

Hierzu auf das Icon mit der rechten Maustaste drücken und dann "Als Administrartor ausführen" anklicken.

Ja, das ist korrekt. Das ist unter Linux ebenso. Da muss die Software als Root ausgeführt werden.
Das liegt an dem Netzwerktreiber, da wir kein TCP-IP benutzen. Und laut neuer Sicherheitsregel dürfen Protokolle unterhalb des TCP-IP-Layers nur im Admin-Modus ausgeführt werden.
